Clean and scour the house top to bottom
Vacuum cobwebs from corners, wipe window sills and wash the windows, inside and out
Clean surfaces, appliances and floors to a gleaming shine
Clean off kitchen counters
Remove items from outside of refrigerator
Launder and fluff bedding, towels and rugs
Touch up spots on the walls
Empty trash cans inside the house
Open windows the morning of to air out the house
Sweep out the garage
Prune bushes, deadhead flowers, clean the sidewalks and mow the lawn or shovel driveway/walks depending on the season.
Add seasonally appropriate flowers to the front steps
Make arrangements for pets to be out of the house (pick up after dogs outside and empty kitty litter boxes)
